Happy Friday! Today I am participating in First Line Friday, hosted by Hoarding Books, AND First Lines Friday, hosted by Wandering Words!

First Lines Fridays is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines?

  • Pick a book off your shelf (it could be your current read or on your TBR) and open to the first page
  • Copy the first few lines, but don’t give anything else about the book away just yet – you need to hook the reader first
  • Finally… reveal the book!

“It is important to me not to be evil.”

I’m intrigued! Anyone have any guesses on what book this is? I’ll give you a few clues…

Last chance to guess!

How much does the internet know about YOU?
Because her mom is always on the move, Steph hasn’t lived anyplace longer than six months. Her only constant is an online community called CatNet—a social media site where users upload cat pictures—a place she knows she is welcome. What Steph doesn’t know is that the admin of the site, CheshireCat, is a sentient A.I.
When a threat from Steph’s past catches up to her and ChesireCat’s existence is discovered by outsiders, it’s up to Steph and her friends, both online and IRL, to save her.

It is important to me not to be evil.”

I’m actually reading CHAOS ON CATNET right now because when I finished CATFISHING ON CATNET, I immediately needed to know what happened next! Without giving any spoilers away, I can definitively say that these books are AMAZING, SUPER FAST PACED, and have lots of GREAT QUEER REP! I hope that everyone who reads them loves them as much as I do!

Do you participate in either of these memes? Let me know if you do and link your posts in the comments so I can visit! And don’t forget to have a splendiferous week!
