Thankfully Reading Weekend 2020

Posted November 27, 2020 by Kaity in Readathon, TBR, Wrap Up / 0 Comments

Happy Black Friday and welcome to my home for everything Thankfully Reading Weekend, hosted by Jenn’s Bookshelves!

I’m so excited to be back and posting about the Thankfully Reading Weekend again this year! I’ve had a ton of fun participating the past two years, and I’m sure that this year will be even better. This is where I’ll post reading updates, general updates, and (possibly) challenge updates! TBH, it’ll probably be pretty similar to my Dewey’s update post. Okay! I’ll update this once the event starts.

Update One

Wednesday, November 25 at 9:29pm EST: I FINISHED HOW THE KING OF ELFHAME LEARNED TO HATE STORIES TODAY!!!! oh my stars, it is SO AMAZINGLY GOOD!!! It was also my 104th book I’ve read this year, so I have officially completed my Goodreads Challenge! (again.) My original goal this year was 52, but I hit that back in May thanks to Covid, so I’m really happy that I was able to read 104! And I’ve still got a whole month left! Yay! I’m currently listening to the audiobook of HOW RORY THORNE DESTROYED THE MULTIVERSE by K. Eason, and reading WINTERBORNE HOME FOR MAYHEM AND MYSTERY by Ally Carter, both of which are AMAZING so far! Stay tuned for my updates tomorrow and the rest of the weekend and don’t forget to have a splendiferous day!

Update Two

Thursday, November 26 at 8:01pm EST: After our Thanksgiving meal, I went to my room and read up to 34% on WINTERBORNE HOME FOR MAYHEM AND MYSTERY, and it’s really good! I don’t think anything’s ever going to really hit that same awesomeness that was Gallagher Girls, but this one is good nonetheless. Okay, that’s it for now, but stay tuned for my updates tomorrow and the rest of the weekend and don’t forget to have a splendiferous day!

Update Three

Monday, November 30 at 12:17pm EST: Oops. I forgot to update this after Thursday, sorry! I wasn’t feeling great this weekend and didn’t get a ton of reading done, but I am now at 48% on Winterborne Home and 72% on Rory Thorne. I’m loving them both, but I’m also really excited to get back to YA stories next! I hope that everyone had a great holiday weekend, and enjoyed all the books they read! See you next year!
