What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it\u00a0by its opening lines?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pick a book off your shelf (it could be your current read or on your TBR) and open to the first page<\/li>\n<li>Copy the first few lines, but don\u2019t give anything else about the book away just yet \u2013 you need to hook the reader first<\/li>\n<li>Finally\u2026 reveal the book!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kaitgoodwin.com\/books\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Triangle-Banner-Summer-2020.png\" alt=\"Divider\" \/><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A girl is running for her life. Seriously, you know those books that you just fall in love with and they keep going and you just love it more and more? That&#8217;s what this book was to me.
