The writing is BEAUTIFUL, the story was compelling, but I just&#8230; wasn&#8217;t connecting. I shelved it as &#8216;come-back-to&#8217; because I do intend to read it again and I think if I read it at the right time I will love it. But for right now, this just wasn&#8217;t a book for me.
