WOW. 2019 was quite a year. It was my first full year as Kait Plus Books (previously known as Scintillating Reads<\/a>!), it was my first full year of participating in Blog Tours (which I LOVE),<\/a> and it was the first full year that I didn’t drop off the face of the planet (at least not for more than a few days). Last year<\/a> I had lots of fun picking out my favorite books, and so I’m back today with my 2019 favorites! I’ll have posts up in the next few days with my FAVORITE BOOKS OF THE DECADE<\/strong> (WHAT?!?) and MOST ANTICIPATED 2020 RELEASES<\/strong>, but for now please enjoy the TEN BEST BOOKS I READ IN 2019!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWhat do a future ambassador, an overly ambitious Francophile, a hospital-volunteering Girl Scout, the new girl from Cleveland, the junior cheer captain, and the vice president of the debate club have in common? Well, unless my life is the joke, which is kind of starting to look like a possibility given how beyond soap opera it\u2019s been since I moved to Lancaster. But anyway, here\u2019s your answer: we\u2019ve all had the questionable privilege of going out with Lancaster High School\u2019s de facto king. Otherwise known as my best friend.
