Happy Thursday and welcome to Kait’s Summer #TBR! (don’t worry, I promise I don’t talk about myself in third person for the rest of the post<\/em> \ud83d\ude09 )<\/p>\n

I’ve mentioned before that I work in the Children’s Room at a library, and this week at work we kicked off our annual Summer Reading Program! Summer is definitely our busiest time of year, and I love seeing kids so happy to read. There’s also a Staff Summer Reading Program, which is awesome! Except reading YA and Children’s books don’t count towards it, so I’m just… forever sad face. But! My local library lets me count whatever I want, so I’m planning on heading over there this weekend to sign up for their SRP! (Short for Summer Reading Program, which is a pain to type out more than twice.<\/em>)<\/p>\n

Anyway, I’ve always loved SRPs, so creating a Summer TBR was lots of fun! Some of these are books that I need to review for tours, others are audiobooks I’m listening to on my commute, and some I’ve been waiting for since the beginning of time (jk, but it does feel like that sometimes<\/em>)!<\/p>\n

Twelve-year-old Aru Shah has a tendency to stretch the truth in order to fit in at school.
