Sunday-Thursday is kind of a blur of ginger ale and saltines and wishing I felt better. On the plus side, I read three books!<\/li>\n<li>There really isn&#8217;t much else to say about this week. Next week will be better, I hope! \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kaitgoodwin.com\/books\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Summer-2021-divider.png\" alt=\"Divider\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13064\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kaitgoodwin.com\/books\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Currently-Reading-Summer-2021.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Currently Reading:<\/strong> After starting (and dropping) about six books, I&#8217;m finally reading <em>Where the Drowned Girls Go<\/em> by Seanan McGuire. It&#8217;s the newest book in the Wayward Children series and I&#8217;m excited to go back!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Currently Listening To:<\/strong> I just started <em>The King of Infinite Space<\/em> by Lyndsay Faye. I&#8217;ve seen some really good reviews for this one, so I&#8217;m excited!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13065\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kaitgoodwin.com\/books\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Just-Finished-Summer-2021.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Just Finished Reading: <\/strong>So last week I was really sick and while there were certainly lots of horrible things about that, I also read three books in the space of like, 4 days! So: I reread\/listened to <em>The Inheritance Games<\/em> by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, read <em>The Hawthorne Legacy<\/em> by Jennifer Lynn Barnes in <strong>ONE DAY<\/strong> because it was just <strong>THAT GOOD<\/strong>, then I read <em>The Year I Stopped Trying<\/em> by Katie Heaney and&#8230; it was kind of a let down? and ever since then I haven&#8217;t really been able to stick to anything.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Just Finished Listening to:<\/strong> I think the last audiobook I listened to was <em>The Inheritance Games<\/em>, and I finished that last weekend, so&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13066\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kaitgoodwin.com\/books\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Whats-Next-Summer-2021.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Books: <\/strong>I have no freaking clue! I was going to read <em>Forward March<\/em> by Skye Quinlan, but the NetGalley copy is all kinds of messed up and I can&#8217;t read it.
