Happy Tuesday! I think what this week’s theme is actually<\/em> asking for is for the books that inspired readalikes, but I’m not entirely sure. It was really confusing to me, so I flipped it around until it made more sense, and what I ended up with is ‘If You Liked This, Try That<\/strong>‘.<\/p>\n

Personally, I love reading and writing posts like this. Ari<\/a> does a great job with them, and it reminds me of readers advisory, aka one of my favorite parts of my job! I try and include something like this in all of my book reviews<\/a> and Can’t Wait Wednesday<\/a> posts. Depending on when they were written, you can find them under “This Reminds Me Of”, “For Fans Of”, “Readalikes”, and\/or “A Recipe For”.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

For today’s post, what I ended up doing was choosing six books that I’ve read and loved, and giving a readalike for each of them! Every two books are readalikes, not the whole list!<\/strong> And even though I totally started this thinking that I would pair Hank Green’s An Absolutely Unremarkable Thing<\/em> with Sylvain Neuvel’s The Themis Files<\/em>, somehow neither of those books ended up on my list? Oops!<\/p>\n
